This is not the best or worst movie out there.
Only flaw I found is that it tries to be part Lego movie (story seems to be modelled after that with the live action movie bookends etc. part Disney movie (bright colours, musical numbers, parents are killed off at the beginning) but it never reaches the peak of any of those.
But it is a nice movie to pass the time with the kids who liked it.

Juegos de este tipo se extendieron durante la Edad Media por toda Europa y se hicieron populares en variadas formas. Los europeos introdujeron juegos similares en sus colonias de América hacia el Siglo XV. Sin embargo, fueron considerados como juegos infantiles hasta el Siglo XVI.

Existen, a pesar de la versión popular del origen del béisbol creado por Doubleday, numerosas referencias a los términos "baseball" y "bat-and-ball" se encuentran en documentos de los primeros años del siglo XVIII.^[1] El origen del béisbol en realidad debería ser definido como la evolución del béisbol, pues en base a lo que los historiadores del juego han venido encontrando, es una derivación del juego “stool ball” que data desde la Edad Media y, a su vez, el “stool ball” proviene de juegos rituales practicados en el mundo antiguo. Desde los comienzos de la civilización, el hombre practicó juegos para divertirse, o para celebrar ceremonias. Y entre estas primeras prácticas, se utilizaron entre otros, los juegos con un palo y una bola. Estos juegos que aparecen en pueblos antiguos como Persia, Grecia, Egipto, se fueron practicando en mayor medida en la Europa Medieval, y fueron dando versiones distintas de juegos.

Al comenzar el siglo XIX en Estados Unidos, mucha gente jugaba cricket en las ciudades, en cambio en los poblados y comunidades rurales se jugaba más el rounders que sería el antecedente directo del Béisbol, pues guarda similitudes con este deporte moderno. Se usaron varios nombres, y los reglamentos iban variando en uno u otro lugar: fue rounders, town ball, one o' cat, y por último el que se usa hasta la actualidad: béisbol (Base Ball).

Si el bateador consigue conectar la bola o pelota de béisbol, hay básicamente cuatro posibilidades:

1. Si la bola toca el suelo antes de que ningún jugador a la defensiva la atrape; en este caso el bateador tiene que correr hasta alcanzar a tocar la primera base antes de que los defensores consigan tocar con la boca o pisar la primera base, para que no ocurra el out.
2. Si la bola es atrapada en el aire por un jugador a la defensa, en cuyo caso el bateador queda eliminado. No importa la "cuenta" que llevase el bateador, en el momento en el que el bateador conecta la bola, si la bola está dentro del terreno de juego, tiene que correr, no puede esperarse si ve que el bateo es malo.
3. Si la bola es bateada pero no entra dentro de la zona de juego es foul. En ese caso el bateador se suma en su "cuenta" un strike, denominado "foul", que cuenta como strike si en su cuenta tiene menos de dos strikes; pero si el bateador tiene como "cuenta" 2 strikes y comete un foul, este seguirá bateando sin ser ponchado. Ahora bien si la bola fuese fuera de la zona de juego, pero un jugador de la defensa la atrapase en el aire (aunque esté fuera de la zona de juego), el bateador también quedaría eliminado.
4. Si la bola sale volando por encima de la zona de juego y cae fuera de los límites el terreno de juego, es un cuadrangular o "jonrón" del inglés "homerun", es decir, el bateador le da la vuelta al cuadro hasta llegar al home y se anota una carrera. Si además había alguno de sus compañeros en las bases, ellos también corren hasta el home y anotan carreras, una por cada jugador que hubiera en base y otra que se anota el bateador.

Si se consigue un cuadrangular con tres jugadores ocupando la primera, segunda y tercera base, es decir, con las bases "llenas", se denomina "grand slam", y se anotan 4 carreras.
